In the majority of provinces and territories in Canada you can recycle paint, glass, electronics, beverage containers, batteries, automotive waste, and appliances. We can all try to make a difference by trying to recycle when we can.
Electronic waste is a particularly serious problem. In many cases our old computers end up being dumped in the developing world creating serious environmental and health problems. The Electronic Recycling Association can help us dispose of e-waste responsibly. They're a not-for profit organization helping companies and the public deal with unwanted electronic items across Canada. For more info visit www.era.ca
